In my opinion, the speaker I learned the most from, was Monique Gray Smith. She showed me that you’re actions, whether you think they do or not, affect many people. I will definatley use this in my life and make sure i make the right decisions. All of the speakers still had great causes though. I was surprised to learn about what they have done, and impacted the world. Chris Naismith for example, can save lots of money a year for people by reprogramming computers and sensors in buildings.
For me it seemed that Lisa was very excited, Lori was very determined and focused and Wedlidi was very inspired by life and always finding something new to do and try. I related to Lisa the most because her path is very similar in where i would like to go in the future along the lines of education and helping people and improving the world. Overall, this experience has been very eye-opening and has shown me and hopefully all of us where spirit, determination and hope can take us. 🙂
Each speaker had a different point of view, and all there lives were very different. My favorite stories the speakers told was that how different Canada and USA are so much different, and the Jumping Mouse, i thought that it was interesting that the story found him. My favorite speaker was Lisa Gunderson, she is a very passionate women and I like the way she looks at the world.
